Exciting news!!!

Guess what??? I have been asked to be a member of the Starving Artistamps Guest Design Team!!!!! This is my first design team opportunity and I am super excited!!! And I could not be working for a better company or with a better group of artists! Be sure to check out the new links at right to the Starving Artistamps website and gallery, as well as the blogs and galleries of my fellow designers! So, in honor of this wonderful announcement, I would like to share a few of my recent Starving Artistamps creations.

This first card was made using some stamps from the Artful Inkables line designed by Kristin Soboloski. Starving Artistamps actually just released 4 new sets of Artful Inkables and I can't wait to get my hands on them!!! Anyway, this card features a beautiful autumn s
cene and is part of a set of two (KSAI-208). I also used the coordinating sentiment (KSAI-404), which is perfect with both of these scenes. I stamped the image on vanilla cs and colored it using my watercolor crayons and aquapainter. I distressed the edges a bit and matted it onto a piece of rust colored cs. I decided to used a strip of Basic Grey patterned paper from the Mellow collection (also available at Starving Artistamps) and decided on a chocolate base for my card. As a finishing touch I added some rich shimmery ribbon by American Crafts and popped the image panel up on dimensionals.

For the next card I decided to use this beautiful image (KSAI-107). The "friend" sentiment is actually part of this stamp - how cool is that? I stamped the image on vanilla cs and colored it with my watercolor crayons and aquapainter. Then I sponged chocolate ink all over to add a bit of distressing and used my Sakura Stardust glitter pin to really make it sparkle! I added some of the shimmery chocolate American Crafts ribbon and matted the image on teal and chocolate cs. Next I chose a pumpkin card base and added a strip of chocolate cs that I pierced vertically. Finally I added some patterned paper, again from the Basic Grey Mellow collection, and popped the image panel up on dimensionals.

Well, I am looking forward to having some new Starving Artistamps creations to share with you soon! Be sure to check back - you won't want to miss them!!! *wink*
